Sound like you got a keeper there.

Where are you located? Maybe a forum member could stop by and help sort out the speghetti with you. Or recommend someone in the area.

Boat is at my shop in Minneapolis MN now but will be up in Bayfield Wi at some point.

1980 Hunter 27 Photos on google. Most of the photos show the split backstay someone above posted that it should have.
