NEWPORT 30 MK II wood work - Hatches

My Newport 30 MK II is missing the forward hatch. I've seen some photos but only from the top outside. Does anyone have photos, measurements, of how it was made? What hinges were used, and how it was latched?

Here's a photo of my forward hatch that shows the hinges.
Construction is just a wood square with plexiglass - 3/8"? - on top.
The wood on the sides is 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 20 1/2"
This is from a 1974 Mk II.
May or may not be OEM.

Whether OEM or not, I like it. I will put a solar fan in the middle so may use a wood top.

Is that Inside or Outside Dimension? What about the front and back?
Is there a curve? I am thinking I need to put the hatch sides together and scribe the deck shape.

That is the dimension of the piece of wood on the sides, as I was looking into building a new one. ( i didn't).
Didn't write down dimensions for the front and back pieces.
The bottom is curved to match the deck.
I put a solar vent in too.

I am bringing my portable wood shop, will take measurements and convert them to a new wood hatch.
