So that is a little clearer for all of us: sale price
of $75K or so, classic lines, very well-built and seaworthy
, and can be sailed short handed or singlehanded, ready and able to go (just about) anywhere. It sounds to me the boat will be around 32-35 feet, but I wouldn't say it absolutely had to be in that range, these may be a little bigger than those shown in the John Vigor book, but it is still an informative book. Realize that ask any experienced cruisers for their list of 20 and it probably would not be the same as his list. The list before YOU will be long but not infinite, and it will be the who's who of cruising boats. BTW, I can't remember if I mentioned it, but when you look at bluewaterboats.org, don't forget to check "boats to vote for" for more good candidates.
