I have been unable to find any information or
images online with regard to the underbody configuration of the Morris 40, a significant drawback as I'm writing a book on
seaworthy sailboats, and the M40 is one of the boats on my list. Could I please ask you to provide me with a brief description, and if possible a line drawing or photograph, of the
keel and the
rudder? I'm thinking it probably has a fin
keel and skeg-hung
rudder, but I've seen a reference to a bulb keel, so I want to be sure I have it right. My
