Missing latch

Can anyone help please.
My chain locker on my Beneteau first 41s5 is missing its latch.
I have attached photos. I don't have a clue where to order one or what its called, I guess I need a manufacturers name & part number.
Thank you.

Re: Missing latch

No, I don't have a clue, and I can't really see how it would have worked. However, you could affix a couple of pad eyes, one to the deck, one to the lid, and lash it closed, if you are unable to source it.

Re: Missing latch

I believe it is about a 3/8th" PIN with a wire U attached to it. The U will rotate the PIN and lay flat in the open or closed position. You could try the Beneteau owners forum. You need a link to the detailed parts manual and it will show the part. There is an easier way.

Put that work on your knowledgeable dealer. Just call these guys they can probably have one you mailed out to you in a few days -
