the only thing left to 'quit' is my own apprehension and fear of getting up and just 'doing it'... I will and am working towards making these plans happen...

the only thing is that i dont like the west coast water... it's cold and dark... and devoid of coral...

If i get a boat over on this side, i will end up moving her to the other side...so, i am making the leap an djust driving over there and hoping to score the best 'bang for the buck', or teh most toys onboard, or the least amount of sweat equity I will need to do..

all of which is difficult as i dont know much but that isnt all that bad/fearful...

Bergy...You just need a solid boat that won't disappoint you with lots of problems. You need simple so that you can do what needs to be done and what you don't know how to do you will learn to do it. Once it's just you and your boat you will have a life's mission and it will transform you. That's what I'm thinking.

Bergy - you should NOT buy a boat and crew for zeezee - save money and help her out.

That is if she will have you and not drive her crazy like a monkey!

and a straight jacket?

thanks guys, and gals... yes, that is all i want.. a simple boat that isnt a major pit/problem... some problems, yea, ok, but if i need to dump thousands into just to keep it afloat and moving then it will be problematic.

I have a decent retirement plan and a private disability, like AFLAC... so, it's not like i wont have money to spend as I go, and i am trying to be optimistic about my daughter, and hopefully we will get back together and I will need money to visit her or her to visit me...

otehr then that, money is for me, my car, my boat, and maybe a little mitzvah to folks like ZEE, if i can...(yes, Im jewish but not a lot, nor should it matter)...

and yea, I love life of brian.. great movie...

Ok...last I heard and I think it was a day or so ago via email, she was REALLY close. However, REALLY close means nothing...this is a BOAT...and I am sure its going to runneth $ over because I anticipate additional issues when they pull that "sicker" out of the water...so lets make sure she is covered healthy.

In this context, a Mitzvah (Hebrew for "commandment") refers to an act of human kindness.

Technically, Mitzvah refers to the (600+) commandments in the Torah (Books of Moses), along with the seven rabbinic commandments.
