Oops, I added the email address to my Paypal howto it now reads:

How to send money from one PayPal account to another:

  • Navigate to the paypal site - https://www.paypal.com/
  • Log in using the form in the upper left part of the screen titled "account login".
  • After you log in you may see a full-screen advertisement click the "go to my account" link at the bottom right.
  • You should now be on the "my account" tab in the paypal site. Click the "send money" tab which is near the top left of the page in the tab navigation ("my account", "SEND MONEY", "request money", etc.).
  • Enter the email address that you wish to send money to in the "to" field. (in this case: zeehag@gmail.com)
  • Enter the amount of money that you wish to send in the "Amount" field.
  • Click on the "personal" tab below the amount field (if appropriate) and select the option that makes the most sense.
  • Click the "continue" button.
  • Follow the sites directives and proceed until you receive confirmation that your money was sent.

If you don't have a paypal account you should click the "sign up" link at the bottom of the "account login" form and then proceed with creating an account.
If you have trouble logging into your existing account you can click the "problem with login" link on the "account login" form.

There are a few other ways to use Paypal but that should cover the basics for this situation. I hope that helps.

Jonathan

Hey Zee

I love reading your participation in this forum you support the community and it is coming back in well wishes and support, I am just begining my big boat journey and feel your pain! When I was a busted arse back packer years ago in Canada on my last $100 I was shovelling walks to make money for food and a very kind person gave me $200 to shovel there walk on a cold cold Calgary night I needed the money but was reluctant to take it. They just said its your time of need now and it will be someone elses in the future and you may be able to help.

Mine is a Landfall 39 and I love a boat with character was considering a Formosa but couldn't find one I could afford. Glad this is happening out of the water didn't fancy the suprises you will find. Have paypaled to you good luck with it.

Cheers Alex

thanks for the tip Adax,i'll check Quantas for south american flights.do you know if any of these SA destinations have connections to the islands (martinique,st Martin,BVI...?) from here,it's very hard to get infos on the "out of the way"destinations ...and let's face it from new zealand everywhere except Australia is ...out-of-the-way !!!...at the moment, the travel agents here want me to go via LA, MIAMI or NY...one of them even looked at a stop over in japan ???...then get a domestic flight to wherever if and when there's one !!?...a 3 day airport transit and a bank loan later ...
cheers

wow-- this snowvball is coming along !! i am so overwhelmed by you guys--- thankyou so much-- is a scary thing when the only real way to go is so out of reach as to warrant thoughts of in water exchanging of stuff to sink boats.... the amount collected so far is 2/3 of haul and launch fees--- and i am using just the sling for savings--is frugal and thrifty and makes sense to me--why take up a cradle whenye can get by using the sling to save cradle fees-- those are REALLY high here..kinda like th e tickets given for careening in glorietta bay!...LOL.. we are doing ourselves in with our boating habits, as many things we do with our boats should not be such pricey deals.... i deeply appreciate you guys for all this! thankyou!!
