Hi all, generator control panel message " Failure! Low Bat 1" . panel reading 9.66 v while the DC panel reads both Batteries fully charged.
Btw, Gen won't start.

not enough info. Sounds like your dc panel is reading the house bank which is probably isolated from the gen start battery. Can you combine across all banks?

Also, check connections from the battery to the generator starter. Could be a loose or corroded connection.

Thanks for your reply, will check generator battery in the a.m. New boat and still sorting things out. will post the outcome.

Well, it was a dedicated charger switch on the air cond control panel, unmarked and in the off possition.Gen is working fine now. However, I have a "warning! no Batt 2" message on the MV control panel that wont go away?
