I would contend that Hooked has a more similar interior layout to a M44 than a M43. The aft cabin of a M43 is distinctive, and going by the pictures in the listing provided for Hooked, it appears there is a double berth to port, but not to starboard. I do see the pilot berths above the settee though, which is also similar.

For my purposes, I'm looking for a boat with at least 5 private berths (me, wife, and 3 girls) that are out of the living area (saloon). This is one of the main reasons the M43 is so appealing to me.

Wanted to check in my mason 43 we have it at bay point in norfolk, going to head south after thanksgiving.
Anyone with similar interests?

You're right, thanks for pointing that out John. I forget there is a 44 and assume it's the 43 when I've seen interior layout shots online.
Hope you find a 44 or like boat, happy shopping.
