Marlow-Hunter 40

Apparently, this new hybrid company is introducing a new 40 in Annapolis. Has anyone seen a picture, specs, or reviews of the new boat?

Re: Marlow-Hunter 40

Info on the new 40 is now posted on the Marlow-Hunter website. A few interesting observations:

- While the LOA is almost a foot longer than the 41DS, the beam is only 12'2", more than a foot narrower than the 41DS (13'3") and even 9" narrower than the 39.
- Options I believe are new to Hunter: hard-top, teak interior (I'd like to see this - one of the few knocks I have on my 39 is the cheap interior wood), diesel heating system (handy for us New Englanders trying to stretch the season).

I'd love to have the island bed, but am curious to see what the headroom will be. The additional privacy of a second head would be handy as well.

- Trevor

Beautiful! If Marlow improves on the quality of the Hunter line while still making it affordable they will have a winner....

Looks just like the latest Beneteau, especially that hard chine bit and the ports in the hull. Best looking Hunter yet.

The brochure specs say the beam is 13'2". Which makes more sense as I was having a hard time believing the layout could be done in 12'2"
