Thanks for replies. I knew there was reason this boat caught my eye as it reminded me of all the sailboats I would see sailing in the 80's. I did visit Islander 36 owners site and am thinking the boat is a I36.. What I read is they were well built boats for a coastal cruising. I looked into the IP 40 and found some negative reviews as to there construction.
