Lovely $1.00 Boat!!!

This is a fixer upper. Someone with more skill, time, and patience than I have should consider taking her on.

1933 Angleman ketch in San Diego, with significant issues, but floating on her lines. Apparently needs mucho love, but she has such lovely lines. 40' LOD

Would be a shame to see her trashed.

Re: Lovely $1.00 Boat!!!

that pic is of a donated boat that sank 4 years ago out of san diego--must be a misteak--was on a mooring in my mooring field. not an angelman anyway--angelman have high proud sprits--this is an etchells, 1946 or so and was sunk. gone. this is a scam ad.

Too bad. I just told my daughter in San Luis Obispo to have it towed to a place on the hard as a permanent home. She would have no trouble finding it in the trailer park.

Re: Lovely $1.00 Boat!!!

the pic was taken before the boat angels got it, and before the boat was stripped--the owners before boat angels gave me some bits for helping them do some work on her before the donation ...then the idjit who sank her bought her for some small fee, left sd bay without any knowledge of sailing or repairs on a sinking leaky wooden boat, and --done.

mebbe it as found and refloated---could work well in a trailer park ..between 2 trees....

Alas - as they told us in law school, "If it sounds too good to be true, it's a lie." Is it any wonder lawyers are cynics?
