Looking for Westphal 38 Infos

Hi,


I have my eyes on a Westphal 38 but can't come up with any information on it even after extensive digging besides that there is another one, but with a different Cabintop.



She's advertised as a Sparkman&Stephens design and looks the part but my S&S buddies don't know her.



Supposedly build by Westphal in Florida in 1962 from Glassfiber. Keel & Centerboard.

... had a look at one in person, seems to be wood and grp, at least in the decks and topsides. If anyone thinks about looking at a certain westphal 38 in panama: don't bother. High moisture readings all over.

I have a Westphal one design. It is 28 feet long, not 38, which may contribute to problems finding it. It was designed by David Westphal. Mine was built in 1968. It is in Annapolis, Maryland. I have listed it for sale on Cruiser forum! Solid hull and rigging. Some cockpit refurbishing needed. Has sails (main, jib, and spinaker). Very neat to sail, and it turns heads whenever it is out.
