How does one find a good
price ($1000/week) rental for 2-3 months in the
Caribbean?
Commercial rental outfits will charge you their weekly rate ($3000/week) with a "generous" 10% discount.
With all the unused expensive sailboats wasting their time in
marinas, either in the
water or on dry land, there's got to be someone who's willing to make some
money by
renting it to someone reliable.
How should I be searching for this?
Obviously there has to be trust buildup. 1. The owner has to know that they're not
renting to someone who will steal or damage their
boat. 2. I need some confidence that, after flying all the way to the
Caribbean, I will find a
boat in good condition.
Any thought?
