The Lafitte 44 has the best galley of any sailboat I have ever seen. It was on my short list until I found out that there is a good chance that the teak decks are fastened by screws from INSIDE the boat. I know Bob Perry has a cult like following but nearly every cruising boat of his that I looked at had a really weird design feature. On some it is a really poor engine access, others had a funky cockpit layout.
