Let me know

I just purchased a boat and wondering what you all think of the Ted Brewer Douglas 31. I have not sailed yet and it is getting a total rebuild as I plan on taking it South from Canada.

Re: Let me know

I believe that the boat referenced is in fact a Douglas 32 (standard transom) which is later referred to as Douglas 33 (reverse transom). Buddy has a 33' and they are good cruising boats. Over the production life, they had a number of different makers, 5 or 6 if my memory serves me. Like any boat, get a survey before purchase. I love the design and while not like the newer "how many will she sleep", is a very good design typical of Ted Brewer.
