I've done it !!!

Hello All,
I have finally bought my boat. I've waited about 35 years for lack of funds.
Recently I sold my house that I bought a year ago and made a nice profit.
I have looked for a boat within my budget ever since I put the house up for sale and found a Wauquiez Gladiateur 33 (1977) in Belgium. We haggled price for a while and this morning we signed all the papers and I paid for the boat.
She was surveyed and was found to be bone dry. No sign of osmosis and engine completely rebuilt.
There are a few bits and pieces that need to be done. I didn't quite steal her but I got a great deal. The name of the boat is "Major Tom"
She'll be de-registered in Belgium and re-registered in the UK. (Gosport)
That's it folks,
Cheers,
Alan

Re: I've done it !!!

That's really awesome. I had looked at a couple of Wauquiez when I was in the market. They seemed like really good boats. Let us know how she sails :-) Congratulations!
