To change you will have to do it thru the port side settie, it has a opening, and it is uncomfortable to work with only fit one hand at the time

I just bought on one yesterday from a guy on Lake Lanier Islands.
I believe he said he bought it from someone from 'Australia" - maybe not?

I've got an opportunity to buy an early 80's Islander Bahama 30 cheap but its Volvo Penta engine and gear is missing. Does anyone know what make/model replacement diesel would fit up in the engine space, match the gear down degree, and fit up to the shaft/exhaust pipe etc, if there is such a thing?

Replaced my Volvo MD7A last year with a Beta Marine (Kubota) 16Hp model. I have a good bit of information posted on Sailnet at the following link:
