Is a Beneteau a horn bagger?

I'm curious if anyone knows if any Beneteau has ever rounded around the horn, and what model and year it was - hopefully a newer model?

Actually, I'm curious if any of the other mainline manufacturers - Jeanneau, Catalina, Hunter, Bavaria - have similar stories?

Not a troll, just looking for answers which I didn't find online as to how well these boats handle higher lat sailing and what owners did to make them thus.

Re: Is a Beneteau a horn bagger?

Rounding the Horn, under sail, on a non-stop passage of more than 3,000 miles passing through the Latitude of 50 degrees South both East and West of Cape Horn, grants sailors eligibility to apply for membership of the exclusive International Association of Cape Horners.
IACH

Here is a list of Members of the IACH by the yacht in which they qualified. You’ll have to further research each member and their yachts to determine make & model of boat.

Short on time, but I quickly looked over the cruisers and circumnavigators and ran some searches, but nothing showed as leads. Didnt look at the races and such.

Some interesting ones here as a thread drift.

Yeah, Donna L. did it in one of those horrible (not to mention sloooow) double-enders. LOL. Oh wait, so did Robin Knox-Johnston and ...
