I'm swimming next to the boats!

I'm going to be doing the 1 mile bay bridge swim. Tried to get into the 4.4, but did not get selected into the lottery system. My friend (professor at towson) got lottery picked and will be doing the 4.4mile. My brother and I will be doing the 1 mile. Next year, we will be able to automatically qual for the 4.4 without the lottery luck of the draw. That being said, we will be swimming next to the boats! (safety boats in the water). That being said, I got a hard date to get my boat back in the water....june 9th....Just ordered sails this morning, stove tomorrow, rub rail, paint, counter tops, building out cabinets as we, very excited and cant wait to get it back in the water. Only around 20 days till I gotta be in the water to make my deadline.

Anyone going to be near sandy point state park in June?
Or swimming in the race (I'm not racing anyone, just trying not to drown)

You cannot drown, if you always keep your head above water! Mauritz
