I Said 'Yes, Dear' . . . Oh No!

I was minding my own business, reading a book in the cockpit, when my wife comes running down the dock with that look on her face. She had left the boat about a hour ago to take out the trash. Not a big issue, she talks to everyone.
As I was concentrating on the book, she tells me she saw a boat at the fuel island and it is now the boat she has to have.
Being a good husband I said Yes Dear and continued reading.
An hour later she hands a stack of boat listings of her New Boat, a Gulfstar 50.
Being a good husband, I said thats nice dear and continued to read.
An hour later she hands me a stack of mapquest directions and names and times available to look at boats.
Being a good husband I said Yes Dear and continued to read my book.
An hour later I am now going to look at 3 gulfstar 50's tomorrow.
Help is now needed with any and all information anyone has about the Gulfstar 50.
Iam also running out of beer.
Thanks
Yes dear

We are all running out of beer.

Could be worse could be five. It's how we ended up with the one we have, Could be worse - could be me. Go for it, you might like it. Get it out of her system one way or the other. If it works you'll both be happy. If it doesn't, then you need to see a few more. I figured five would settle it - it did. No one knows how many it takes. Pray it's not 10.

With a wife so into boats, all I can say is, does she have any single sisters?

I am sooooooo in love with your wife at this moment. May I borrow her for a week or two?

When I was cruising the Ozzie Coast behind Frazier Island, I heard an Ozzie yacht calling the coast guard. The yachts name was "Yes Dear".

It made from some interesting VHF chatter as we heard the words "Yes Dear" again and again on the radio.

It reminded me once again that a person should choose the name of his vessel wisely.

The good news is she does not want a K-Mart 65.

And restocks the beer...

BTW - I have a theory that we should sell on the wife along with the boat. I mean all boats are pretty good. All boating wives are pretty good. But, dang, don't we all like a change every so often?
