Talking I have done it
I have finally found my boat and bought it. Now is the time for a tidy up, I took her out last week for her first test run, heading to a nice anchorage (Tangalooma) all of the electrics started to fail one by one. So it turned into a nice day fishing in Moreton Bay instead. After returning into dock I have stripped the head, replaced the fresh and salt water pumps, replaced the electric panels, relaced the VHF Radio with a newer DSC Radio, Mounted an AIS Transformer, replaced the lights in the pilot house, and now I have her on the hard getting her stripped down under the water line because the paint that was on her was bubbled with salt water underneath. Although this is costing me my life savings, I could not be happier. Cannot wait to get her back into the water. By the way, she is a 47ft Boden designed yacht (Steel).

excelent sounds like you are having a good time, keep it up and keep us informed I have to live vicarious through you all until I find the right boat for me.

If I knew how, I would Lol, I think this should work. Not my image, however it was the one that attracted me to her.

Oh yes, I am still in the excited stage, starting to get a bit worn out now. But if I slow down too much I am afraid I will stay in the safety of the marina and never get out.
