I Couldn't Help it . . . I Had to Do it !

I'm sorry, I tried.
After looking at rotting plywood trimarans that I could afford and at shiny catamarans that I couldn't afford for several more years, I bought a Vagabond 39.
It's a full keeled blue water cruiser, safe & slow.
I'll see you in port a couple days after you arrive.
Flipping vs sinking, who knows. Slower, yes, but affordable and very pretty.
Now I'm a boat owner, not a wannabee anymore.

LOL..I wondered the same thing.....im sure stirring up trouble was not his intent though.

Like I said ,to me its all about getting out there...what ever you can afford to make it happen is what it should be, and be praised by all.

He did mention trimarans and catamarans, at least!

Congrats on the boat!

Because I was quite sure that I would buy a multihull. 100% convinced that it was the way to go. But like I said, I couldn't help it, I had to buy it even though it was a hull or two short.

Upon first reading I understood why it was posted in the Multi-hulls forum. I don't really see any reason for it to have been moved since the post was directed at multi-hull owners/users.

I was apologizing to my brethren and explaining my reason for betraying them. I wasn't stirring the pot. I can always go fight with my wife if I'm really looking to beef but I'm not.
I'd really rather help someone fix something or offer my experience with a product or make somebody laugh or get some help pulling myself out of my most recent foolish idea.
We're all cruisers or wannabees here, aren't we? 0, 1, 2, or 3 hulls.
