Hunter 33'

We have just purchased a Hunter 33'. She has been very well maintained. Our plans are to go from Georgian Bay to Caribbean in 2012, does anyone have any suggestions.

Re: Hunter 33'

We have no intention on waiting cause who knows what might happen, especially at our ages we may not be able to go after next year. Thanks

Okay then fine!

Don't scrimp on cameras! I would look into a GoPro. Waterproof and tiny with a wide angle lens. You will have silly fun with it. And you can use to inspect the undersides as well.

Re: Hunter 33'

It is like any other boat that you might purchase, there are ups and downs. We are VERY happy with our Hunter 33'. These boats handle really well in all kinds of weather and they are a reliable beast. We are cruising in ours and we have no concerns about her at all.
I'm sure you will not have to kick your own ass later.
Good luck and enjoy!

Re: Hunter 33'

The boat sails quite well. depending upon the age of the boat, you may have to consider additional cold storage. My 2009 H33 is short in this regard as it came equipped with an ill suited college dorm fridge. Igloo has some nice soft coolers to supplement your needs. Bon Voyage!
