Re: Hull number for Allied Seawind 30 ketch?

Our 1962 allied seawind Hull #7 also had the hull number on the main sail. There was also a plaque on the bulkhead right above the steps as you went down to the cabin.

I can see that you don't currently have the boat documented. Most of these were documented when they were built, so if you can still see the doc. number engraved in the bulkhead above the v-berth facing aft, you can use those to look up the records on the USCG site and may get some info from that. Or if you know the boats previous name from when it was documented.... There used to be a list I had 20 years ago with most of the names and hull numbers for all of the seawinds. I'll take a look later and see if I still have it.

Re: Hull number for Allied Seawind 30 ketch?

It was documented at one time, number 541513 and I'm currently in the process of reinstating it. Its previous two names were Maura Lee and Sea Bon. No hull number listed though...grr.

Yeah, if you could take a look that would be great! Again, I think its either 24 or 26 (its on the mailsail which is currently neatly folded). Did the original main have a drawing of a cloud blowing or something like that? I remember seeing that the last time I had it unpacked.
