Every once in a while I see one of these Hudson's on the market but I've never heard of anyone who actually owned one. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they capable of sailing the ocean blue? What distances were they originally made to sail? They are mostly older boats (80's & 90's) so probably not still being made. I really like it's lines and am hoping one of you can tell me more about them! Thanks!

If you go to this link at Latitude 38:
http://www.latitude38.com/letters/200602.htm And then scroll down just over half way, you'll find a letter from some owners "defending" their Force 50 as a boat that shouldn't be lumped with others made at the time. Sounds like they've done a lot of work, but they believe the boat was worth it.
