How to transport, La Paz to Vancouver

Hi all, I found an older boat with good bones in Mexico. It needs attention but looks like a worthwhile project. The problem is this boat is on the hard at a yard about an hour from La Paz. Can anyone give me advice on how to go about this? I got a quote from Dockwise. They sound like great people but the price is out of the question ($13-16k). What are my other options? The boat is 37'.

What about working on the vessel where she is?

Hi There,
Is there any chance you could work on her there, until she was in good enough condition to make way for Vancouver under her own power?

The short answer is I don't know. She has been sitting on the hard for a couple of years. Maybe I could get the sail-drive working but there are so many issues. I don't know the state of the electrical system or anything. I would really like to get her here and strip her down and do a proper job.

Got this link:

uShip Shipping Price Estimator

from this thread:

which was one of several found with this google search:
truck boat mexico to washington site:www.cruisersforum.com

I haven't found it again, but there was something about a service in another thread that handled getting the boat across the border, it involved some kind of transfer in Arizona.
