Here We Go Again . . .

I can honestly say the Minnesota Winter (-10 here last night) is making me yearn for warmer climes. I have a C&C 34 on Lk. Superior that I can single hand. It's a little tender so I reef at the sign of caps, has minimal storage and tankage, draws almost 6' and has no opening ports. I seek suggestions for a Winter liveboard for the Bahamas/Carib that I can comfortably single hand (=<36') has storage and some more tankage, draws five feet or less and opens up to the air. No Cats or centerboarders or Island Packets or Hunters or full keels please. French boats and Catalinas kind of OK. (Don't ask why, I'm a judgmental bast**d.) And it should be selling for <= 100k. I'm knowledgable and capable of the maintenance of a 20+/- year old boat and know we're in a buyers market. What sayest you?

I can tell you,you are not serious about the $500 thing. If you were you would make do with the boat you have.It is quite suitable for $500 cruising.
