I sailed on one down South 10 or more years back, but if I recall
it seemed to sail well on most points of sail compared to the boats around us at the time in moderate conditions. I don't know it's light air abilities but I would trust it at Sea in a blow that's for sure.
I agree that it's a MUCH bigger boat than the Norsea 27. The Norsea is really tight inside due to the narrow beam. Having been aboard a Norsea 27 I was looking at for sale
I walked away without looking back because of the cramped IMO interior
. I'd choose a Dana 24 over the N27 because it has *sparkling* sailing performance for a boat of 24ft IMO.
