Freya 39

My girlfriend and I have recently purchased a Freya 39 hull that is completely bare. It is a beautiful project boat that I can't wait to start. Does anyone by chance have any interior pictures that i good use as a reference. I am also interested in anyone on here that might own one. I am having a hard time trying to find anything on the internet. Thank you.

Well, this ad has some interior pictures.

You might want to research Gannon Yachts. They were somewhere in CA and built the fiberglass version of the Freya 39 in the '70s. Maybe there are some old drawings floating around.

G'Day ebrown,

You might e-mail Rich Spindler, the owner/publisher of Latitude 38 (richard at latitude38.com). He owned one of the Gannon Freyas for years, and just might have photos or such. He's a really nice guy and could be a source of help to you.

Cheers,

Thank you very much for everyones help and the info. We are very happy to own such a wonderful boat and can't wait to complete it and sail it. Just doesn't seem that there is to much info on it other than the Hobart races.
