Red Herring she isn't but with the Freedom carbon poles, ya don't have to worry about shrouds or stays. She'll fly with the short rig just fine because she's so damned slippery. 50% ballast? Can ya say stability?

Ya ..that point was brought to my attention right off the bat ..I had forgotten she was free standing when I posted the OP....I seem to be forgetting a lot of things lately...

FWIW... I have yet to hear about him contacting anyone who is interested in her..I think it will be sitting in this state for a long time to come unfortunately...I have a hunch hes waiting for an offer of help with an infusion of $$ and labor... I cant say I blame him..She is a beautiful boat.

Well it's going away. The new owner built a trailer to haul it away. Today he was loading it up. A free boat that's costing him a lot of work.

It's not quite tied down yet but that's for tomorrow.
