I have chartered a 42' Bavaria
that had 4 cabins & 2 heads. It was reasonably spacious considering. It gained some extra room by having no settee opposite the table and an inline galley
where the settee would have been. the boat would only be 10 years old now, so there should be some available, probably mostly ex-charter. It had a reasonably roomy V berth up front, forward head
& a small cabin
with double bunks behind that & 2 "double" cabins under the cockpit
. Depending on the application a cat might be ideal for your needs.
