No insult intended but just because your wife is a lawyer, does not mean she knows all the rules or laws of registering all boats in all states. I've gotten several boats registered and titled in different states w/o titles. There are ways to get things done thru proper channels legally.
Not to mention there are ways to "fudge" certain issues to get the same results.

that boat NOT cheap. try again with paperwork. you can find even cheaper if you LOOK....
