Forgen Windgenerators

Does anyone have experience of Forgen windgenerators, I was considering buying the 1000 version, but I've never used one before, and they are $1100 each... Any experience based assessments will be greatly appreciated before I part with my hard-earned money (heck, I could buy a case of Forts de Latour for $1100!).
