Re: Finally Bought My Boat

Congrats on the boat! Particularly liked the "poor as us now" comment from savior

I bought a Norvane recently and have not yet mounted it, but I can say that it is certainly solid and well-made. Here's a review by someone who's actually used it: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...iew-63789.html

I was also considering a hydrovane, though they are about twice the cost.

Yeah, I liked that " poor as us now " too, HA , I had seen that review after doing a search, I've been in contact with James and am going to consult with him about the Norvane and other things regarding my refit, he's in Brunswick Ga. my boat is in Savannah Ga. so he's close. I'm out of the country and won't be able to start this process till probably July. I'm thinking of taking the boat to Green Cove Springs, Fl. to do the refit.
