Feeling Yachts

I was curious if anyone here has any experience with these yachts?? They look pretty good on paper. They are from the same builders as the Privilege Cats (Alliaura Marine) so they know about quality and build. I can only assume that the skills with the CATs have transferred over into their Monohull line.

I would love to hear any and all real world knowledge about these boats.

Cheers

New Feeling Yachts - New Yachts for Sale

The 39f is my top.1 in this size. The bigger are even nicer, i have not heard anything bad. They also have much better stability than alubat.

This site have better info than the builders site.

Thanks freetime for the extra info. I hate to read just the builder's site as they are obviously biased.. Would love to hear more info from real owners or experiences.. Cheers

Pretty awesome looking boat. My only concern would be storage. That was not shown.

Feeling started early in the 20 th cent, later taking on Kelt, and became part of the Kyrie group and later subsumed by Alliaura marine which ceased trading 2012.

Feeling produced light fast cruisers from various designers including Mourtain (is that spelt correctly?), and Vaton from 25 foot onwards. They got a reputation for light airy interiors, and doing design below that was a little different.
Several have made fast ocean crossings, though not universally on top of most peoples consideration for such voyages. The 850 came from the 1/2 ton cup winner.....
I have owned and sailed a 286 on the east Anglian coast for a season (after 14 years with a much loved Jaguar 27) and am delighted with her.

Re: Feeling Yachts

You have the old Feelings and the new ones. I think someone has bought the name or just revived the brand.

The old ones were just like any other paper boat except for the bow section.

The new ones are just like any other paper boat.

Buy the boat you fall in love with. It is all about feelings. (!)
