I would love to hear any and all real world knowledge about these boats.
Feeling started early in the 20 th cent, later taking on Kelt, and became part of the Kyrie group and later subsumed by Alliaura marine
which ceased trading 2012.
Feeling produced light fast cruisers from various designers including Mourtain (is that spelt correctly?), and Vaton from 25 foot onwards. They got a reputation for light airy interiors, and doing design below that was a little different.
Several have made fast ocean crossings, though not universally on top of most peoples consideration for such voyages. The 850 came from the 1/2 ton cup winner.....
I have owned and sailed a 286 on the east Anglian coast for a season (after 14 years with a much loved Jaguar
27) and am delighted with her.
