Fair Winds....

I just wanted to say goodbye to those folks on here that have been here for many years. I have thoroughly enjoyed our discussions and consider many of you friends, although we have never met in person. I don't want to list off names in case I forget anyone, but thank you all for your kindness, help and patience with some of my questions.

I had been talking to some folks about my losing interest in the board recently. It's mostly because the "vibe" has changed here. It's probably also because I am no longer living near land and am having trouble relating.

It's also because some folks (new ones mostly) are just downright mean and I don't need those kind of folks in my life. Since I can't dictate who will see a given thread I post, and therefore I'll get some yahoos in there giving me hell (that never use to happen), I'm just going to have to quit the forum. Heck, it will save me a few bucks on diesel too.

Thanks to everyone for the great exchange of ideas.

I wish you all fair winds. (Even the mean folks)

If you would like to contact me, please do so via my regular email address from my website.

Take Care,

Capt Sean

Good luck Sean,

I have enjoyed following your progress with your boat. Hope everything works out for you and your lady. I am sorry to see you depart, but sometimes the time is right to slip anchor...

Sean, so sorry to learn of your decision to quit the board.

I thoroughly enjoyed following and learning from the preparation and upgrades you made preparing your boat for charter. Your posts are always interesting, informative and entertaining. I'll miss you and your input.

Please check in at least once-in-awhile and let us know how your charter business is going.

Hope you have great success in your ad-venture!!
