Edey & Duff - Gonzo !

It is with some sadness that I report that Eddy & Duff of Mattapoisett, MA has closed it's doors--another victom of misguided governmental economic policies. Originally founded in 1968, the Company began with the construction of the venerable Sam Crocker designed Stone Horse in Peter Duff's living room (subsequently finished in his wife's herb garden). As reported by Good Old Boat's latest newsletter, the Fatty Knees will continue to be built by a fellow that purchased the molds. See the Good Old Boat Web-site for more.

FWIW...

I thought it was because their long time general manager passed away last year.

Really?!?!? That's the story you're going with? There couldn't POSSIBLY be ANY OTHER reason? With that mentality, it's no wonder every single business in the world hasn't folded. Care to revise your statement without the senseless political slant?

SV HyLyte; The demise of Eddy and Duff had virtually nothing to do with the economy so don't use this forum as a way of politicizing boating.
