Don't know. Do you have some specs for the boat?

Re: do you like this boat ?

Looks a pretty recent, high performance, design. I don't find it ugly.
Unfortunately I don't know what it is.

Re: Do You Like This Boat ?

Depends what it's for, and how much it costs you vs how much it brings you.

For my tastes, the cabin and large cockpit and scoop stern and Bermudan rig are undesirable, but it's a boat, it floats and the hull at least looks like it would move along well.

For about the same size, my heartstrings would go for a more traditional boat like these:

Character, proven design, easy to build, easy to handle, simple, longer life, resale value, economy....mind you, it's a fogeyboat, probably get a few sneers from the modernists. Your pocket, your call.....

Wow, Pretty, but in a small boat.... I want to go fast! Of course the owner of that one will be varnishing continually so they both go the same speed in the slip..... :>)

Ooooooh, niiice. Tell me more, Bruce, I'm all ears! Pic saved to micah's droolfile.....

Cheechako: with modern paints and varnishes, you get less shed-time and more sea-time. Personally, I'm going for more paint and less brightwork on the Caledonia Yawl I'm preparing to build...but I'll still have a blast grooming her; much more entertaining and rewarding than rendering someone else's house, like this morning.

Re: Do You Like This Boat ?

Looks great. I like the modern boats more than the older boats as the interiors appear to be more liveable for the given size of the vessel. Maybe it boils down to the builders designing to the market.

Re: Do You Like This Boat ?

my lil rig is a Kutter , small sister of a Knarr. I converted her to gaff and added the wee cuddy for cruising. she was a basket case when I got her . cetol and a good tent reduce the maintenance vastly.
That said , I own about 8 boats, all wood.
