we have a volvo penta 100 hp engine in need of repair in Fort Lauderdale FL. anyone know of a good mechanic in that area? We are not from there. (Sorry if this post shows up twice - the 1st one did not seem to go through)

Greaat guy and good mechanic: I have used him on my own boat the last 5 years as well as on clients boats and never had a problem, he shows up and takes care of any diesel and boat related problem.

He worked for the charter companies in the Caribe for years maintaining a fleet of various boats with various engines so he has "been there, done that" with most boat related problems.
