Delivery - Corpus Christie to Tampa

If I buy a boat in Corpus Christie, what should I expect to pay to have an experienced captain sail her to Tampa for me? Or should I just take the time to do it myself?
When the going gets weird, the weird go sailing.

So, did you find your new boat? Maybe that Catalina 36 from the other thread?

I don't know what a delivery captain would charge you. I'd say do it yourself if you have the time. It's a great trip via the ICW. We just returned to Texas back in June (from the Bahamas).

If I did it, I would need $500 plus airfare and extra for loose ends like getting the boat ready to sail. You just need to figure what your time is worth in a week and if you make less then 1k in a week then I would do it your self. keep in mind all the electronics you need for the trip this will add to the cost if its not equipped.most delivery captains have their own gear.
