Dean Wixom - Nor' Sea 27 CHINOOK - Where are they?

Greetings all,

I'd like to make contact with Dean Wixom who had owned the company that

built the Nor' Sea line some years ago. I'd like to know if he still owns his NS

27 CHINOOK or it's been sold. I can be reached at advenjack@yahoo.com.

Thank you all for any assistance you may provide.

Cordially,
Jack

Dean Wixom sold Heritage Marine in 1980 and went cruising on his own Nor'Sea, “Chinook”.

He put “Chinook” up for sale in 2002.

From Fall of 2002:
"Hello to all. There has been lots of inquiry re "CHINOOK", but no takers, so I must conclude that the price is too high. This is the best equipped NorSea ever built, with over $30,000 in options, custom features and cruising gear. It was built under my supervision when I was the president of Heritage Marine, the original builders of the NorSea. Several years back CHINOOK recieved a 2000 labor hour refit which included a new Diesel. This boat is equipped to go anywhere. Price is now $39,500."

This e-mail address is no longer active.

The phone number is not to the Mr. of this X couple.

The X Mrs is not into sailboating she said.

She supplied a way to contact the Mr.

I did get to speak to the Mr. after connecting a few dots.

He has NO up to date info on D. W. though.

Jack,

I don't have any current info on Dean just now. It's been some time sice we talked. We are in La Paz Baja, Mexico. You might go over to the Yahoo Nor'Sea group at: NorSea27 : NorSea 27 Email DIscussion List

And ask there. I know he has posted there in the past.

Just an idea.

Greg
