Cost of new mast

Is there a rule of thumb about how much more a carbon fiber mast and boom cost than an aluminum.....twice, half again? Boat is a Dufour 43, I 58 ft

I want to have a quote, too but afraid to call Rig-rite.
And wonder how do you know a guide line when to replace a mast and boom.

For a new Solaris yacht, it's a 58,000 euro option. Dehler it's 48,900 euros. Not sure about prices on used boats.
