Question Coronet Elvstrom 38, does anybody know anything about this boat?

I am seriously thinking about making an offer on this one listed for sale here in the US. I think I may be able to get a heck of a deal on her, and do most of the refurbish myself, but there isn't much information about these boats that I can find. I am looking for a full time liveaboard for the Admiral and I.

Harbortowne Marine (Vonore, TN)

I have been looking at the Gulf 32, Pearson 36 Pilothouse and the Freedom 39 Pilothouse and this Elvstrom fits right into the mix, but due to this particular boats history I may be able to make a purchase sooner than expected. This boat is listed on Ebay as well and has a current survey:

1977 Coronet Elvstrom 38 | eBay

So if anybody has any information like build quality, sailing performance, motion comfort, blue water ability with ocean crossing in mind please let me know. As for crossing oceans, this boat got here from Denmark somehow....

One of them is docked across the alley in our resident marina. I looked her up and she looked every bit a fine sailing boat. You will love the protection from the house but make sure at least the center pane flips open if you are aiming at the tropics. The bulb sure will catch every trap and fishing line BUT at least you will find it easy to grab them with a boathook and cut/remove.

Looking at her powering, she made very little wake (possibly a result of the bulb). Looked effortless.

I did not see that boat sailing. Given the figures, she should be a decent/good sailor.

I know another, smaller, Elvstrom boat and she is light, fast but (too) tender. Build quality is fine but not overbuilt. I assume this one had been laid up thicker.

I would definitely keep the design on my list.
