Contest 31 Specs

I'm looking for the specs on a Contest 31. The sailboatdata website has the boat listed as follows:

Disp: 10,500
Ballast: 5613
Beam: 10.33
LWL: 23.42'

The Contest 31' s for sale on Yachtworld are listed:

DisP: 8380
Ballast: 3500
Beam: 9.33
LWL: 24.92

Does anyone know another site where I might find some numbers.............or does anyone know the true numbers?

I think you may be looking at data for different models (years) of the Contest 31...

I am a fan of the Contest 31 and seriously considered a purchase of one once. I would have to say that sailboatdata doesn't have the right specs on this by the beam alone. This is not a beamy boat.

There is a very knowledgeable owner of the Contest 31 on this forum....hopefully he will share his info with you on this thread.

They made 110 of these Contest 31's between 1971 and 1974 and these are from that period showing the different specs............
