Contessa 00D 34 ?

hello
i would apreciate your opinion and comment about Contessa boat
i will be coming to CA,to look at a Contessa 00D 34 in richmount CA
I am focussing only about strong hull , rig,seaworth for ocean passage.

I am not focussing in any other details about fittings , interior , galley ..ect..
as ,i intend to spend few months fitting the boat to my own ship shape desire , and got a budget to do so.

i like the full keeled version of the contessa .. i'm guessing that would be the 26 .. kinda small. wasn't the 34 was built for racing?

yes i beleive they where
but i sail single handed so i like fast cruiser and do not need lot of space
i prefere performence and strenght over space inside.
