Aloha forum members,
I had a week long experience aboard a friend's Columbia
28. The boat performed superbly. She is a mid 70s boat with old sails
but sailed well, was stable going to weather
in 20-22 k and 8 ft seas and supported 4 of us for over 200 nm of fun.
Here's the story and pictures starting on page 3. I'm the author:
For any longer cruising or even just to make changes I'd add a bridgedeck and larger cockpit
drains. Other than that she gets my recommendation as an inexpensive coastal cruiser.
Did you see the size of that Ono (Wahoo)?
