Challenger 50

Is anyone familiar with the Challenger 50? There is one in Hawaii that 'looks' solid, but I can't find any information on them. We're looking for a boat (44+) that is blue water capable, and don't mind putting in some elbow grease or adding gear if the price is right and the boat is solid. Buying in Hawaii would not be my first choice, but we could go for it with the right deal.

Saw your post about a Challenger 50.

I have one situated near San Diego that I am selling reluctantly. She needs a new fridge and new electronics. She is undergoing a professional refit right now. I have put in about a 100 K into it and would consider selling it for what I have in it.

The boat comes with lots of tools and spare, 3 outboard motors, and a dingy. Send me a phone number and I shall call you.
