C&C Frigate

I may be making an offer on a 1970 C&C Frigate 36. Is there any wisdom out there on this boat? How it sails, what to look for in particular. It is a centreboard boat.

Cool looking boat. I presume it was built before CnC started coring their hulls...?

My apologies for the late response.

It is a solid glass hull all the way to top. There is coring in deck and I plan to remove stantions, remove some of the core,fill with epoxy and reseat the stantions - where needed.

What is your take on a centerboard boat on open ocean?
